Rail Baltica southern section mainline Info Day in Iecava

The Latvian implementer of the Rail Baltica project, the company Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas, together with the main contractor of the Rail Baltica mainline, ERB Rail, invites residents to attend a discussion on April 29 from 16:00 to 19:00 at the Iecava Culture House about the latest developments in construction works in the Bauska region.

The aim of the Info Day for the southern section of the Rail Baltica mainline is to ensure direct dialogue between project implementers and the public regarding construction progress and technical solutions.

Visitors will have the opportunity to approach thematic information stands individually, where project specialists will answer residents questions about the planned construction works on the southern section this year and in the future, where the mainline will cross regional roads, and how access roads will be built.

Residents of Bauska and Iecava parishes will have the opportunity to receive consultations on individual questions and specific situations arising during the construction of the mainline.

Info Days are a regular event aimed at maintaining dialogue with the public, allowing residents affected by construction works or the future railway line to ask questions directly and receive first-hand answers from project specialists. At previous Info Days, residents have shown particular interest in road traffic and how road load will be managed during construction.
