The project’s client and Rail Baltica’s national implementer in Latvia is Eiropas Dzelzceļa līnijas SIA. The client and construction engineer, Italferr (Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane Group), is managing the contract for the construction of the Rail Baltica mainline, work, and cost supervision, while the Ministry of Transport is overseeing the execution of the contract. The project is co-financed by the European Union.
