Career

Support the South Regional Management team in organizing and coordinating logistical tasks, including transportation, inventory management, customer relations, and cost forecasting.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the South Regional Manager and the Main Logistic Manager to develop and implement strategies and processes defined by the General Management Team.
  • Organize site access and manage related issues, including access roads and site infrastructure.
  • Coordinate the setup of construction bases in RMT and SMT.
  • Oversee materials management for aggregates, concrete, machinery, etc., including storage, deliveries, unloading, and loading.
  • Analyze project requirements to select appropriate materials and design logistics solutions that ensure projects meet deadlines and stay within budget.
  • Collaborate with RMT and SMT teams to implement systems that improve inventory tracking, storage, and distribution.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, negotiating rates and contracts to secure reliable and cost-effective transportation services.
  • Participate in procurement procedures, contributing to purchasing plans and required documentation.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports in Novads regarding ongoing work and planning of upcoming activities.
  • Cooperate with subcontractors, supervising their work, schedules, and documentation.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • A civil, logistics or railway engineer degree.
  • Driving license of category B.
  • Knowledge of the Latvian language and English language proficiency, both spoken and written, to perform duties in relation to all colleagues coming from JV partner companies.
  • Knowledge of the construction market: materials, contractors, equipment.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management and handling programs.
  • Knowledge of the principles of line project management.
  • Experience in the field of equipment management and materials supply.
  • Experience of organization and settlement of logistical material, machinery and equipment tasks.
  • Willingness to travel frequently – the Project is carried out throughout the country.
  • Ability to adapt to the different stages of the Project and eventual changes to the plan.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
