South Logistic Manager

Support the South Regional Management team by ensuring effective planning, coordination and control of materials, equipment and machinery purchasing and delivery processes, enabling projects to be completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with quality standards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with the South Regional Manager and Section Production Teams to implement strategies and processes defined by the General Management Team.
  • Plan, Coordinate and supervise the delivery of materials (aggregates, concrete, precast elements, …), equipment and machinery to construction bases in Regional Management Team and the Section Management Teams.
  • Maintain a reliable supply chain by monitoring resource availability, managing quantities, and coordinating delivery schedules according to the project timeline.
  • Oversee and coordinate the movement of resources, including ordering, delivery, unloading, storage, and transfer to construction teams.
  • Actively participate in procurement procedures, including preparation of delivery plans and required documentation, in cooperation with the procurement team.
  • Develop and implement improvements in inventory management and tracking systems.
  • Provide information and update daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
  • Cooperate with suppliers to ensure compliance with client contractual requirements and conditions, while optimizing delivery costs.
  • Cooperate with subcontractors, supervising their work, schedules related documentation and material quality.
  • Respond proactively to changes in project execution to ensure continuity of delivery processes.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

  • Higher education in logistics, construction, or a related field.
  • Experience of organization and settlement of logistical material, machinery and equipment tasks.
  • Knowledge of the construction market: materials, equipment, contractors.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management and handling programs.
  • Knowledge of the principles of line project management.
  • Willingness to travel frequently – the Project is carried out throughout the country.
  • Ability to adapt to the different stages of the Project and eventual changes to the plan.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Knowledge of the Latvian language and English language proficiency, both spoken and written, to perform duties in relation to all colleagues coming from JV partner companies.
  • Driving license of category B.
