The Estimator core responsibility is to carefully check quantities of the Detailed Technical Drawings, distribute General Quantities as per the Work Breakdown Structure and to develop transpositions of the Bill of Quantities from standards method of measurements to another classification system (more precisely transposition from Uniclass 2015 BoQ to CESMM4).
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To review the quantity estimates provided by the Designer and identify errors, inconsistencies or duplication in materials, labor, equipment, and other resources required for the project.
- To do the transposition from Uncilass 2015 to CESMM4 for the BoQ received from the Designer.
- To work in collaboration with the Method leads to developed WBS with quantities for each Building Permit.
- To assist in the tendering process by preparing tender documents, analyzing bids, and evaluating contractor proposals
- To identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost control measures to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
- To track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections in line with these.
- To provide support during construction phase for the quantity takeoffs and measurements for the Monthly Interim Payment Certificate process.
JOB REQUIREMENT:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction engineering or finances and experience in construction field.
- 3-year working experience as an estimator in construction.
- Knowledge of classifications as Uniclass 15 and/or CESMM4 is taken as advantage.
- High level of English, both spoken and written (at least at B1 level).
- Attention to details is a must.
- Very good analytical capability.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to the different stages of the Project and eventual changes to the plan.
